Alice Springs Running and Walking Club is excited to host Alice Springs' Running Festival again!!

We are in need of some local or even visiting legends to help the event run safely and smoothly. If you’re not able or not keen to run in the event but would like to get involved, this is your time! 

Register your interest in specific roles and times available and from there we can work out with you what positions and times may best suit you.

Volunteers will also receive a token of our appreciation!

Role Descriptions

• Registration Day: Getting participants their bibs, answering questions, and selling merch!!
• Course and Aidtation Setup: helping to get aidstation equipment out, put course markers out and anything else that pops up the day before.
• Event setup: helping set up tents and marquees at the event up at Simpsons Gap. 
• Event Pack Up: Helping us pack down all of the things.
• Assistant Race Director: Want to dabble in race directing, a bit of aid station support and other random tasks that may come up to support our runners. Assistant Race Director might be for you!
• Aid Station Attendant: Someone has to keep the runners fed and watered when they come by :) Includes free snakes and tailwind
• Sweep: We have multiple  sweep shifts

Time Slots

Running Festivals can be long events!  There is plenty of flexibility in available times, before during and after the event. Time slots are listed as 4 hours, but we appreciate any and all support, so if you're only available for a few hours, we'd love to have you! 

Saturday 19/7 - 

• Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Sunday 20/7

• Sunday: 6:00 am - 10:00 am, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, 1:00 pm-3:00 pm
