  • Alice Springs Marathon

    Over 100 people participated in either the Marathon or Half Marathon on August the 18th.

    The event was very successful and congratulations go to Aimee, Judy and John for all their hard work in putting the event together.


     

  • Desert Knowledge Precinct 5 KM

    Thank you to everyone who came down to the DKA Community Event today.

    Apologies again that the cafe was not open - I think we all coped well even without coffee!

  • ABC Half Marathon

    Over 100 people competed in the ABC Alice Springs Half Marathon, which included a 5 kilometre event and a relay event.

    Thanks to Stewart Brash and the ABC Alice Springs staff for organising this fantastic event.

    Congratulations to Jamie and Emma for winning the half marathon.
  • Alice Springs Marathon

    The Alice Springs Marathon will this year be held on Sunday 18 August 2019. Formerly part of the Alice Springs Running Festival, the Marathon (with a half marathon inclusion) will be offered as a dedicated event, starting and finishing at the picturesque Alice Springs Desert Park at the base of Mount Gillen.
    For more information and to stay updated, please head to the Alice Springs Running and Walking Club website or follow the Club on Facebook.

    The Marathon starts at 6:30 am and is an out and back course towards Honeymoon Gap.

    the Half Marathon starting at 7.30am, participants will be transported to the Marathon turnaround point and will run back in.
    Registrations are $50 for Marathon, $30 for Half Marathon
  • Time Tease

    Congratulations to Anatola Taylor for winning the Time Tease event.

    Anatola's "guess" for her time has within three seconds of her actual time.

    Congratulations also to Simon Duke for crossing the line first.

Upcoming Events

  • King of the Mountain

    The next event on the calendar is the popular King of the Mountain run and walk.

    This is the 40th Anniversary of the Event that is organised by the YMCA.

    Starting at theYMCA at 6:30 am, the event is approximately 7 kilometres in length and ends at the towers on Mount Gillen.
