Alice Springs Running & Walking Club - Fun, Fitness & Friendship

5km Series

The next event on the calendar is the 5 km series. This is three separate races. Race 1 will be held on the 5th of November at the Windmill Restaurant, Race 2 on the 3rd of December also at the Windmill Restaurant, while the 3rd race will be held on the 16th January at Simpsons Gap. All events start at 6 am.

Alice Springs Community Bank Marathon

Over 70 competitors competed in the Alice Springs Community Bank Marathon and Half Marathon on the 21st of August. Congratulations to Ben Streeter and Asher Reynolds for being the Marathon champions. Spcial thanks to the sponsors, Alice Springs Community Bank and to all the volunteers for making it such a success.

Annual General Meeting

The clubs AGM will be held on the 27th November at 12 noon at the Todd Tavern. Some committee members will not be nominating for positions again, including our President Glenn Edwards. Please consider attending the meeting and nominating for a position.
